Hello friends and clients,
A water pipe burst in the studio over the holidays, leading to extensive water damage. Demolition, remediation, and reconstruction of the affected areas has begun and is expected to take several more weeks. Studio A has relocated temporarily to just 2 blocks down the street, to the former space of Noble Somatics Massage & Wellness (so look for those signs when wanting to find Studio A now). Address is 311 E. Main St. Suite C, Brownsburg. All appointments are held there despite what you may see in appointment confirmation emails, until further notice.
Because there is no lobby or waiting room at the new temporary location, new protocol requires that you text from your car when you arrive, and wait until you have received my reply text before entering the building. Access to my suite is via the front door of the building only, so avoid all other entrances, as those lead to other suites/businesses.
I am grateful that this new space I’m relocating to was available and move-in ready, and I’m also feeling very thankful for all the help that people have provided in moving things over to the new space and getting it set up:
Andrew, another massage therapist I share the studio space with, graciously emptied my treatment rooms to ready them for demolition while I was in Tennessee last week
a good friend worked with me the other night to rip up carpet and get all my remaining things out of the studio
my pastor and husband moved my heavy massage table together at moment’s notice
my colleague (whose former space I have taken over) loaned me all the curtains and hanging hardware to use until I return to my normal location
my new landlord and a fellow tenant in the new building helped bring in loads from my van in the pouring rain today
my 10-year old daughter unpacked and arranged all the Lending Library items in the new space
my little guy, a 4-year old, picked out the right hardware and handed it to me while I was on a ladder installing a curtain track for privacy.
Whew! A move, even when it’s just 2 blocks down the street and is temporary, still requires a lot of energy, time, and resources. I am so thankful for everyone’s help in this blitz of a transition!
I look forward to seeing clients in this clean, safe space until the original studio is in good working order again. I’ll see you there. ❤️
